It was established in 1932 by Thomas J Swan with the founding of Emerson Swan, Inc. and remains privately owned by his family today. We are headquartered outside of Boston, Massachusetts with additional manufacturing operations in Michigan, US, Chelmsford, UK, Taichung, TW and Qingdao, CN. We have additional sales and warehousing/distribution centers in Connecticut, New York, Pennsylvania, Maine, Puerto Rico, Brazil, China, Costa Rica, France, India, Italy, Korea, Luxembourg, Philippines, Singapore, South Africa, Spain, Turkey, UAE, and United Kingdom.
